SDC Operations Manager, ComSpOC
Bob Hall is the Manager of SDC Operations for COMSPOC since July 2021. From 2014 – 2021 Bob was the Director of Operations for COMSPOC. In that role he oversaw day-to-day operations, from sensor management to data processing and customer interactions and on-orbit threat monitoring. He has appeared on CNN discussing evolving space threats. He provides expertise in support of SSA pursuits and product management for the SSA Software Suite, and oversaw AGI’s numerical validation efforts as part of a USAF program evaluation. Before specializing in SSA, he was an STK product manager. Bob joined AGI in 1997, and prior to becoming product manager for space applications served as director of engineering and flight services. In 2001 Bob led AGI’s efforts on the Mir de-orbit, working from the TsUP in Korolev. Bob also assisted with the CAIB investigation following the STS-107 accident, including using STK while as an on-air analyst at CNN. Prior to joining AGI, Bob spent 11 years as a system engineer and manager of Orbit Operations working for Lockheed Martin and GE on the DSCS III satellite program. Before that, he worked for Lockheed Martin for 5 years at the Sunnyvale Air Force Station, operating USAF satellites.
